Official: JAMB Cut off mark for Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges.

After the conduct of the policy meeting held between the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board and representatives from various universities, polytechnics and colleges across the nation, it was conclusive that the minimum cut off mark required for a candidate to process admission Into any university is 160, 120 for polytechnic and 100 for colleges of education.

The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu therefore gives a directive for JAMB and all institutions to proceed with 2020/2021 admission processes. Admission exercises for 2020/2021 is therefore expected to commence by August, 2020 based on the guideline outlined by JAMB.

According to last year's statistics, of the total number that applied for admission by obtaining the JAMB application form, only 1,157,977 had complete SSCE result to process the admission. In the long run only 612, 557 have been offered admission so far. 

With this information, candidates who have seen their UTME result should anticipate the announcement of their school's Post UTME form anytime from now as all school now know what they are working towards. Also note that institution will state their own minimum cut off mark for admission application. This may be above JAMB's own but cannot be below. 

In respect to this, I urge you not to loose your guard. Get into our classroom and practice as many Post UTME CBT questions you can lay your hands on.
